Melissa Fitzgerald-Drew is an accomplished aviation executive with extensive experience in private aviation, client services, and aircraft management. As Executive Vice President of Client Services at Solairus Aviation, she plays a critical leadership role in delivering exceptional service to aircraft owners while driving operational excellence across a nationwide fleet.

Since joining Solairus Aviation in 2014, Melissa has been instrumental in shaping and enhancing the company’s client services and operational infrastructure. With a strong foundation in project management and ownership services, she has developed and implemented policies, procedures, and operational controls that ensure efficiency, consistency, and a superior client experience across the organization.

In addition to her client services leadership, Melissa developed Solairus Aviation’s Recruiting Department and continues to lead the function today. Under her direction, the recruiting team has evolved into a strategic pillar of the organization, supporting workforce growth, talent acquisition, and long-term staffing initiatives across pilots, maintenance personnel, and corporate roles. Her leadership in this area has strengthened the company’s ability to attract and retain top talent in a highly competitive aviation market.

Melissa’s leadership extends across multiple functions, including client relations, crew support, recruiting, and workforce strategy. She is recognized for her ability to align service delivery with the complex and evolving needs of aircraft owners, while also addressing broader industry challenges such as talent acquisition and workforce development.

With over 20 years of experience in the private aviation industry, Melissa brings a comprehensive understanding of aircraft operations, client expectations, and regulatory compliance. She is a licensed private pilot and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Daniel Webster College.
